Is law of attraction a sin?
Manifestation, by itself, is not sinful, but it can lead to transgressions.
If you’re manifesting with a selfish motivation and it would cause harm, then it would constitute a sin.
Conversely, if you are seeking to help others and your manifestation does not bring about any harm, then it’s not a sin.
It is not a sin to manifest a new job in order to support your family, as the resulting end and your motivation are both not selfish; rather, it encourages you to work hard. However, manifesting an injury for an adversary in a game of football in order to win is sinful.
Manifestation is a powerful way to attract what we want into our lives – whether it’s tangible objects, a sense of fulfillment, or spiritual growth. It involves defining our desired goal and crafting a vision around it, envisioning ourselves having achieved it, and working towards it.
The principle of manifestation implies that the outcome of any given situation can be determined by our thoughts and outlook. This is also referred to as the Law of Attraction, which postulates that positive thoughts attract positive results, and negative thoughts bring about negative outcomes. In other words, what we think influences what we experience.
Sins can be seen as a lack of love towards others, or as outright rebellion against God. Specifically, this might be something you do, like stealing; or something you say, like telling a lie. It should be noted that even acts that appear good can be considered sins if done with an ulterior motive.
Manifestation isn’t a substitute or hack for religion; however, it can be used for good purposes such as increasing a congregation’s size, proclaiming the word of God, or fundraising for church renovations. In many ways, practicing gratitude, removing negative thoughts, and trying to do good are all aspects of manifestation that align.
Manifestation, while a popular concept, sometimes raises questions about whether or not it is spiritually acceptable. As long as manifestation is done with selfless intentions, there is no wrongdoing in asking or working with God, as part of the manifestation process is the idea of co-creating with the universe.
Believing that you can achieve because of your faith, and focusing on positive thoughts, are concepts that the Bible alludes to repeatedly, encouraging prayer and petition as a means for success. As stated in Mark 11:24, we should pray and trust that our needs have been met.
Manifesting with good intentions, such as fostering gratitude, bettering your circumstances, aiding others, and boosting your self-belief, is not wrong or sinful. Provided you approach manifestation with good faith and are willing to put the effort in, then positive results will come your way.
